I was at CVS in Rowley, MA today and they have marked ALL their Zhu Zhu stuff $2.00.
Yes EVERYTHING , even the carriages and homes. I remember when people were paying hundreds for this stuff on Ebay a year and a half ago and now they are practically giving it away.
If you have a little one that doesn’t already have these they do make a great gift. My kids had these and I have to say they are pretty cute and a great alternative then having to buy a real hamster that poops!
FYI – In the Georgetown store they are all still full price, go figure!

I brought my kids today and it couldn’t have been easier. I am using these accounts for them to learn how to budget and spend their own money. I will be encouraging them to make frequent deposits no matter how big or how small. Whether they are depositing a check from a Birthday gift from Grandma or a quarter they found in the parking lot it will all add up eventually. Hopefully this savings account will teach them to be proud of their accomplishments and savings.
You can even allow your kids to get a ATM card so they can access her own cash and have total control.
I am hoping my my children start wanting to put money into the account and take pleasure on watching their savings grow and grow. I have high hopes but I am sure between my 11 and 13 year old one will be the saver and the other will be looking for ways to get that $10.00 out of the bank and into their hands and spent. Either way it’s free money and a lesson will be learned from this one way or another.
