I tried this last time it was posted. They told me I couldn’t do it! They said the coupon says that it doesn’t included the travel size. I told them this wasn’t the travel size. They said “it’s our travel size.”

My dollar tree said the same thing and I said “this is a larger size than the travel size I have seen at other stores. The cashiers at my Dollar Tree are very apprehensive about taking any coupons they are almost paranoid. They always ask a manager if it is an okay coupon and then I was also told by one of the clerks that if they take a coupon for the wrong thing they will get fired for it. I think that is wrong, to have your employees so afraid of making a mistake and firing them for it.

I hate when they bully cashiers like that. It is so not right. It is their job to train the cashiers to work the registers and that includes coupon usage. This is why I try and be extra patient with cashier because I understand that they are afraid to loose their job for taking coupons.

I tried to use this coupon and was told that corp. put out an email that they can not honor the coupon, it is for a larger size.

I just came back from my Dollar Tree Store I tried to buy 2 of these. I had 2 of the $1/1. The cashier “didn’t know how to ring coupons” so she called the manager. He had no problem with the size but get this he said they could only take one coupon because I couldn’t have 2 for free. He proceeds to tell me that Dollar Tree has been losing a lot of money on coupons so they can only take a dollar off two no matter what the coupon says. Now we all know that is not true because they should be making a little money on each coupon they send in. Not to mention the coupons said $1/1 NOT $1/2.
There was a huge line so I wasn’t going to hold everyone up. However, I did send and email to their corporate office a few minutes ago. I didn’t like the manager’s tone which made it sound like I was doing something wrong
Does anyone know of a Dollar Tree store in MA or NH that knows what it is doing when it comes to coupons?

Plaistow mgr is ok. But in general all Dollat Trees are fairly new to coupons. Explain to them nicely that the store is being reimbursed by the mfr for the coupon plus a handling fee. Coupons are like a form of currency so Dollat Tree is not loosing money they are making money
The Garnier q . they are saying is considered a trial size. Which we disagreee but Garnier told me they do consider trial size to be 4oz or less.

When I live in Virginia they had no problems taking coupons at the military commissaries and I move back to Mass and it seems like no matter where I go I have problems with using them everywhere. I’m going to try and use this today at the Attleboro, Mass Dollar tree and I’ll let you know how it goes. Crossing my fingers

The Dollar Tree is not the best at coupons s ne prepared. They are fairly new to coupons. Also we posted an update that Garnier stated 4 oz and under is considered trial size
