I just got a FREE PRESCRIPTION OF AMOXICILLIN for my daughter today! NO STRINGS ATTACHED! It was as easy as getting my prescription filled anywhere.
I hadn't seen this anywhere on this site. So, I thought I would share.
I just found out Publix offers the following prescriptions, up to a 14-day supply.
Here's what their website states at http://www.publix.com/freeantibiotics/
"Free Antibiotics
Good news.
Save money and feel better.
At Publix, we're always looking for ways to make your life easier. And helping you manage healthcare costs is no exception. That's why we're pleased to tell you that some commonly prescribed generic oral antibiotics are free at your neighborhood Publix Pharmacy. To take advantage of this great deal, all you have to do is bring in your prescription for any of the medications below, and we'll give you up to a 14-day supply at no cost to you—regardless of your prescription insurance provider or the number of prescriptions you need filled.
Due to the unavailability of generic Erythromycin Stearate and Ethylsuccinate, we are no longer able to offer this item in our Free Antibiotic Program.
Amoxicillin
Ampicillin
Cephalexin (capsules and suspension only)
Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim (SMZ-TMP)
Ciprofloxacin (excluding Ciprofloxacin XR)
Penicillin VK
Doxycycline Hyclate (capsules only)"
With 5 children I wish I would have known this a long time ago! However, with one being a newborn, I'm sure happy I know about it now.
Aloha~
