Novartis has recalled some of the drugs that have been "free" over the last several months.  Many of us may have some in our medicine cabinet.  I checked and I do have some Excedrin.

 

Here is the link for the list of impacted drugs and how to send the drugs back for a refund etc.

THanks…I've got a bunch of Excedrin, as it is my "drug" of choice.  I had heard GasX, but hadn't heard Excedrin was included!

has anyone gotten through to the hotline #? it said to call for info on how to send back but of course its busy.  i see the rebate form but it doesnt say to send the pills back there too.

How to Return the Recalled Product

 

To return a recalled product and obtain a refund, please follow these steps:

 

  1. Check your Novartis OTC product to see if it has been affected by this recall. Click on the link for the product listof the brand you purchased.
  2. For each product you return, you must fill out a refund form.
  3. The form requires that you include:
    1. The 10 digit UPC Code, located under the bar code or on the product list.
    2. The lot number and the expiration date (located together generally on the bottom or the side panel of the bottle).
  4. You may mail back multiple products in one package, however, please note:
    1. Each product must have its own refund form.
    2. Return and refund is only for actual product.
    3. A one-time $2.00 shipping reimbursement will be included with your refund. If you are shipping more than two bottles and the shipping cost is more than $2.00, you will be reimbursed for the actual amount listed on the package (US Ground shipping).
    4. Please use Standard US Ground shipping.
