Can someone please help me understand wine tags? I'm in Market basket in nh now and I don't see any that don't require the wine purchase?

Some wines come with "tags" on them for money off meat and such. I am not the expert so I will digress to the experts to answer this completely.

You have to buy what the wine tag requires you to buy to use them.

I saw plenty that were $2/wine or something similar, and a couple that were like $2/meat with the beer purchase, but it was clear that I needed to purchase the wine/beer too?

Some states, such as NH, ME and NY are no beer purchase required (NBPR) states. Read the fine print under good light. Grab a magnifying glass from the Pharmacy aisle, if need be, to read the form.

It depends what the wording on the coupon states. You occasionally will find wine tags in NH that state No wne purchase required. Which means you do not have to ourchase the wine. Unfortunatley they are hard to find but they do exsist. If I find them once every three months i am happy

I noticed a few wine tag coupons on ebay for $2 off meat when you buy a bottle of wine and the seller mentions that some stores don't require you to buy both at once. In MA, we don't even have wine in the grocery stores. Do you have any idea if these are the tags that don't actually require an alcohol purchase, or is it impossible to tell? Thank you for any guidance on this :)

You have to follow what the wine tags say.
