Not sure if they go lower than this…
Found chest freezers on sale in KMart weekly circular that ends 9/10
Kenmore 5 cu. ft. $143.99 and 7 cu. ft. $170.99.
Also, at Home Depot.com a GE 5 cu. ft. for $179 with free ship (might be at the stores to look at) not sure when this ends.

Don't forget to use your store card, discount coupon and or go thru EBates for additional savings.

I think these are energy star freezers. If so, that would make them eligible for a $50 rebate through MassSave rebate program.

That is much less than we paid Sears last spring AND before the energy rebate was in place. My husband is so happy with my couponing results that he's thinkng of a second, but our kids are so little, I don't feel like I can justify that large of a supply yet.

The Home Depot one is NOT – I just checked it and under specifications it is listed as NOT Energy Star Compliant – boo – would have been an awesome deal with that rebate & a 10% off Lowes Moving discount!

I don't have one yet. Hubby says, he likes to be able to see what's in the fridge, white space/empty space so I cut back on shopping the past few months to make a point
Was wondering how much in dollars of an increase in your electric bill did you notice or not by having a separate freezer?
Also, I did read that National Grid in Mass will give you $50 to take away old fridges.
I was thinking maybe the electric bill goes up $15 a month or more from having a freezer? anyone? Just wondering.
