My Dendrology skills are rusty.  The one in the ad being held by the mop-headed boy is a coniferous seedling.  It appears to be a fir seedling.  

 

I am sure they may have other species in the giveaway, depending upon availability.

 

Can anyone identify this young seedling's species from the pic?

I posted the link a couple of days ago I think there was information in it that told what areas were giving what away.  I didn't pay much attention to it.  YOu could also call your local lowes and ask.
