Any tips on how to save money buying pool supplies and chemicals?  Where are the best prices and are there ever coupons on chemical brands?

Hi and welcome. About saving money on pool supplies. 1st tip is "Pre Season Sales" and after season sales at pool supply stores and other stores. Get on their email or mailing list for special sales. Apply for free membership cards that give discounts if available. Occassionally have seen coupons for specific brands. Even the big stores sell pool supplies and chemicals; Ocean State Job Lots, KMart, Target, XMas Tree Shops. Some items at CVS, Wags and Rite Aid, floaties, toys, can be free by rolling your rewards.

For large ticket items, pumps, filters, etc. you can check Amazon, EBay for pool supply stores and use Ebates for further discounts and compare to in-store prices.

Lots of pool supply mail order business' out there; will mail you several times a year their catalog with promotions.

Assuming you have a pool already or are you contemplating buying one ? Often new pools come with the full starter package with everything you need for your first season.

Thanks for the information.  We just got a pool the end of last season so this will be our first summer maintaining one and I was trying to figure out how to save on the chemicals etc.  Thank you for your response!

Sometimes the pool supply stores have brand specific coupons; if you haven't done so try giving them a call to see if they are having any specials or coupons on that product.
