I have been buying the 10 off 10 coupons from ebay for Kohls since Dec to use for Christmas gifts, my son's clothes, etc.. I have saved soo much money and now my son has a huge huge pile of winter and summer clothes. I was reading something on ebay that says these coupons are illegal and if caught you may get prosecuted. That scares me as I have bought about 80 coupons in 8 weeks. I don't want to get in any trouble here. I go to 4 different kohl's stores and have had one manager tell me I could only use one coupon period. Are these illegal if bought on ebay? I would like to use some more but I really don't want to get into any sort of trouble and be banned from the store or prosecuted… thanks for helping

There were some that were made in the form of a pdf that were bad, bt they were pulled from Ebay. I have not heard of any other fakes. Do you have the link to where you read that so i can review?

*** I put the $10 off 10 bar code number into the kohls cash inquiry and it said Sorry didn't match our record but when I put the $5 coupon into the kohls cash inquiry it said Kohls cash $5.. so maybe they were fake coupons

The forum discussion you had from the bump was from Decemember and that was the time the bad coupons were circulating. Kohls was made aware of it and the glitch coupon that was being reproduced was pulled and now when scanned comes uo as expired.
If yiu have coupons now that are 10.00 pdfs and are not working when you doa mock transaction at kohls.com then you need to contact the seller and ask them if they are real or a glitch coupon. If they are fakes ask them to refund the money for the unsed coupons you have.. If you are posive they are faes I would report then to Ebay and Paypal.

I went to Kohl's the other day and they said i could not use the coupons i buy on ebay. Period. They scanned my coupon and it worked (a $5 off coupon) and then said they have a new policy where they are not accepting ANY $5 off coupons because they have been having issues with fakes. Kathy – what have you heard about this? Is this a new policy for all Kohl's or just mine? They said they had a meeting about accepting ebay coupons and that the $5 off coupons from ebay are different than the ones "they" email after a new email address signs up for the first time. Help! Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not Kathy but my first question would be why did you tell them you bought them on ebay? If you are buying from a good seller the coupons would be legit they got them from signing up an email address. If the coupon scanned and took off $5 than it was a legit coupon.

I also purchased one lot of 10 off 10 coupons; and they did not scan at the store. I tried a mock transaction online and they do not work. I promptly contact the seller and received a full refund immediately. Seller pulled all ebay listings. These are definitely fraudulent coupons.

I purchased 20 Kohls $10 coupons for $17 on Ebay. I saved a ton. They all scanned. You must do seperate transactions of course. Don't advertise that your using them. I go in look around pick a few items and go through the registers numerous times. Its a lot easier if you have someone to go with. Or you could go a few days in a row. Its not illegal to use online coupons. If the coupon scans correctly its legitimate. Managers dont want one person to use multiple coupons but if they scan they were emailed to someone and collected to be sold. If Kohls wants to stop this all they have to do is have the individuals name added to the coupon.
I dont believe that Kohl's Corporate is opposed to coupon sharing but the local managers probably dont like it because it cuts into their particular stores take.
Find a good seller and stick with them.

It's technically not, as eBay's coupon policy is it's allowable as long as the seller is not being compensated for the coupon itself, just for the effort into "clipping, mailing, and eBay fees."
But kohls printable coupons will only allow you to use one coupon per trip. These coupons are abused so much.
