Hi All: I am wondering if any of you experienced this at the Danvers, MA store. I was purchasing bic pens (3 packs, 3 coupons) post it note holder (one coupon) post it labels (one coupon ). I was not allowed to use my coupons. The clerk read the coupon to me and said it can not be combined with any other offer. I was not combining any offers. I was buying 3 packs of pens with 3 coupons $1.00 off any bic stationary products. The clerk with attitude called the assistant manager over. He had just as much attitude stating you coupon people need to know our policy. I asked for a copy. They said they don't have one. The assistant manager told me customers may only use one manufacturer's coupon per person per day. He would not allow a separate transaction. The clerk told me I couldn't come back into the store and try again.
I went to the Beverly store and had no problem using any coupons. I returned all my regular priced items and will purchase them elsewhere. Note if you use any manufacturer's coupons at Staples its takes a small amount off each item not the item that matches the coupon. The Danvers store would not refund me the amount I paid. Beverly, Ma no problems… Frustrating!

That is frustrating. I had a good experience the last two times I was in Danvers. One time, I forgot my rewards and a young male clerk jumped through hoops getting them for me on line and printing them out for me (they were going to expire that day). The time before that, I was buying an expensive calculator for my son and they took a $25 off $75 Office Max q, without any issue at all. The clerk at the register checked with her manager and it was no problem. I went to Saugus the other day for some forms for work and tried to use a $15 off $40 Office depot q and the manager there would NOT take it saying it wasn't for what I was buying. It clearly said 'office supplies', along with other things. I guess it just depends on who is working…
