no, not in this case. If you mean since the limit is 2 packs, can you buy one, then use the reward to buy another, you can't for 2 reasons: 1st off, the reward is not available in your rewards acct for a couple of weeks anyway; its not instantly printed out like a CAT is. 2nd, if you use Staples Rewards to pay for an item that you are expecing to receive Staples Rewards on, you will only receive a new Staples Rewards amt for the diffference you paid in cash. The only exception is items that are free after their easy rebate – you can use Staples Rewards to pay for those & you will get the full purchase price back as a rebate. I hope this makes sense. It is in their fine print in their ad and I have verified it on the phone with Staples Rewards before.

That was a good question! No, I'm sorry. If you use your Staples Rewards to purchase an item that generates Staples Rewards, they will be deducted from the "new" Staples Rewards total. You will not get any "new" Staple Rewards for any part of the purchase that you used your "old" Staples Rewards for. I hope this makes sense. HTH

I earned rewards from the batteries a month or so ago. I'm new to shopping at Staples and don't get there often. Are those rewards only good for a certain time period like ECB's? If so, how long? Also, can I go in and use all rewards towards a purchase? TIA!

@gardengirl
The Staples Rewards have an expiration date on the coupon that you print out. (which is sent to your e-mail) It's usually good for quite a while. (about 2 mos give or take) And yes, you may use all of your rewards on any purchase. (no need for fillers) HTH

I am so going to stock up and giving them out with gifts!!

I had $61.50 ish in Rewards from battery purchases and ink cartridge recycling. Along with the $90/1q for a Seagate external hard drive, I paid $17.50 OOP.
DH has his Christmas gift.
