Hi coupon friends….
I am currently reading Kathy's book and am enjoying learning about how to save my hard earned dollar. I am happy to be here on this forum and to meet you. So far since the start of the new year, my best deal was yesterday at Walgreens. I scored 4 lady mitchum deoderants, 1 10 oz bottle of dawn dish soap and 3 (rather small) boxes of cheezits …all for $4.50.!!! I stacked coupons for the deoderant. It was .99 with wags coupon and then I had 4 .75 off coupons (limit 4). I had 3 .99 cent wags coupons for cheezits (limit 3) and a .75 off the dawn dish soap that was marked down to $1.38. I also had a $5 registry rewards coupon that I used. I was very happy and holding my head up high when I headed towards the exit.
Is there by any chance a forum of some type so that I can chat with coupon gals in my area? On this site? or another that can be recommended?? This way I could find out if there are better deals on the other side of town…where i work.

Hi Theresa,
I'm from New Mexico! I live in East Mountains and have been trying to get some free stuff but it seems like I don't have time or am just to tired. I work fulltime at UNM and I have an acre of land with a horse to take care but I'm going to keep trying. I have gotten some really great deals though!

Hi Cindy and Theresa-
I live in Albuquerque. I am brand new to couponing. I am almost finished with Kathy's book. I have been trying to collect coupons "like crazy". I haven't had much luck other than printables. I got the Red Plum mailer this last week. However, the Journal doesn't have a Red Plum, Proctar and Gamble SmartSource insert. So it has been difficult to find lots of coupons as suggested in the book. I would like to know where you guys are getting/finding your coupons.
