Welcome.  You can do fine without being able to print coupons.  Feel free to ask any questions you have people will do their best to answer them.  You will find yourself referring back to the book often.

Pick a store to start with that.  Don't overlook the drugstores you can get a lot of items free there.  If you get free health & beauty items it will lower your grocery bill.

Hi, I'm new too.  I always avoided the drug stores and large chain grocery stores because I thought they were so expensive.  Just poking around today has been such an eye-opener.  Thanks!

I'm new too, just watched your pbs special and it was so inspiring!  I'm trying to stay home with my kids, but the weekly bills are daunting–I hope to learn how to do this couponing thing as well as you!

CoolHello my name is Dev and I want to be a couponalic. I have two teenagers, a house full of kids more times than I can count and volunteers to feed. My husband has been laid off and the bacon I have been trying to bring home is more like store bought PB&J. Looking forward to doing better and having fun while trying.

HELP! How do you print a coupon that is listed – for example there is a Nabisco $3/3 coupon from 1/8 SS and it comes up in your database, but you can't print it and the SS site only lists this week's as printable.  So if you are announcing a latest deal with a coupon how do you get multiple copies of that coupon??

That one isn't a printable coupon it means that it came out in the smartsource insert on 1/8 it came in that insert that came out in the sunday paper on 1/8,  If it is a printable coupon when you click on it it will print.

Good Afternoon from northeast TN!  I would love to find the deals out there but it seems to be hard in my little remote town.  The only grocery we have that doubles is Kroger, and that's only on Tuesday and only up to .50 (not to mention it's a good 40 mile drive from my house).  Most do not accept printables either.  With my BH being unemployed for the last 2 yrs, I really need to find a way to cut costs (other than being on EBT as we currently are).  PLEASE HELP!Cry

Do you have a CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens or Walmart near you?  If you do don't overlook those stores you can get a lot free there follow the weekly topics for the drugstores and the coupon matchups topic for Walmart.

From NYC! Everything here is insanely expensive. Getting free stuff is tough when stores charge a premium to what things cost elsewhere but we get a lot of stuff INSANELY cheap! So I guess that counts for something.

Hi, I'm new to the site but have been couponing some for a while.  I live in Maryland and do not see any grocery stores listed in my area.  I have weis, safeway, kennies, giant, foodlion, shoppers and wegmans.  How do I find the sales information and deals for these stores on the website?

Hi, I am Krisse, I am from Indiana. I am super new to all of this ( took me 10 minutes just to figure out how to post a hello and introduce myself ;) )!  I have never cut coupons in my life and never was tough or shown how to do coupons by my parents either. My husband has just been laid off and I have been strucken with a disabling disease which does not allow me to work per the doctors. I wish I knew someone here to actually show me the ropes but I know that isnt possible so I am hoping my friends here on how to shop for free can help me! I am new to Indiana so having friends here to go shop with isnt really possible yet anyways. Well theres abit about me….hope I figure out the site faster then how to do a post, lol! Good day y'all!

I'm a newbie. I was browsing the shelves at Barnes & Noble yesterday and saw the book; I had to get it. I'm a college student looking to cut cost on everything. I don't have a hubby or children yet, but I plan to one day and I plan on being a pro shopper by then. I started reading the book last night and got to chapter 3. I went online to check the coupon policies for my area stores and none of the stores offer double coupons. Also, I searched for free samples and a lot of the major stores don’t offer the samples in my area. How do I find good deals in Kansas City, Lee Summit, MO or Overland Park, Shawnee Mission, Kansas area? I also want to eat healthy. How do I get good deals on non-processed foods, meats and veggies?

Welcome to the group! I have dear friends that live in Elma.

One of our members recently started posting some deals at Wegman's that may help.  Also, check out the drug store forums.  Have you read Kathy's book yet?  It has lots of great tips and information.
