Thirty one days until Black Friday!!!
Today Ace Hardware’s BF ad was leaked on bfads.net.
All the month long toy books are up and ready to view as well. They are not the actual Black Friday deals just the toy books that the kids look forward to seeing. You should be receiving the toys books in the mail and Sunday papers shortly.
I have my kids go through the toy books and circle what they want. Once they are done circling, I ask them to cut out their top ten items and paste the pictures on a piece of paper. Doing this keeps them busy for a few short moments, and it enables the grandparents to visually see what they want. Seeing an item makes shopping so much easier for the grandparents than having to match scribbled words on a child’s list to words on a package.
Would you know which one is an Ugly doll if you didn’t have young kids?
The one on the left is LaLaLoopsy. The one on the right is the real Ugly Doll. As you can see, it could be confusing! Save the grandparents the time of searching the aisles for what they consider to be an “ugly doll”.
Can’t you just picture your in-laws walking up and down the aisles scratching their heads and saying “What’s wrong with these kids? Why on earth would Sally want an UGLY doll???”
Save everyone the disappointment (especially the boy’s). Just imagine the look on their faces if they open a LaLaLoopsey when in fact they wanted the soft cuddly Ugly Doll. Make a visual wish list and make everyone happy this holiday season.
**Make sure you check your toy books for coupons. If you aren’t buying any toys, please hold onto the coupon and trade with another member. You can even drop the coupon off at a non profit canter that shops for kids like DSS or Toys for Tots.
