Some of you may have already noticed a change in our coupon database. But for those who haven’t swung by in a while, I am excited to announce that we have a new prefilled database!
Inside our database you will now find all the magazine coupons listed (i.e. All You, Parade Magazine, Redbook and more!) The current Rite Aid coupons, rebates, tear-pads, printables and Sunday inserts have all been added into the new search-able database. Also, we now have a blog feature! Which means if you want to copy and paste info into a post, you can.
For instance, say you are typing out a list of what you are planning on buying for the week and want to share it with the group or on your own blog, you can now copy and paste the direct links from coupons.com, redplum, smartsource, etc. into your post. I’m hoping this will be a huge time saver for you guys!Personally, I am very pleased with this new upgrade we have featured on our website. I hope you are, too.
I have discovered a few kinks but nothing major. If you do a search and don’t see the brand you are looking for come up in your search results, try searching again for the type of product. For example, I have had a glitch with a brand of shampoo, but when I typed in shampoo instead of the brand, the results came in for the brand I was looking for.
Another feature the database has is Suggest a Coupon. Suggest a Coupon means if you find a coupon that is not in the database you can now click on Suggest a Coupon, type in the coupon info and the database server will enter the coupon for us upon verifying the coupon. Please send in any new coupon finds you have that you don’t already see inside the database by using the Suggest a Coupon button.
I really do love this new database. Most importantly, it frees up hours of time that How to Shop for Free Members were having to spend searching before we got the prefilled database. And of course a HUGE Thank You to Lolly for all the hard work she has done helping maintain the previous database! Her help was and is very much appreciated by all of us!
I hope you all enjoy searching the new database as much as I do! Happy coupon hunting!
