The opinions in this review are solely my own. I received no compensation for this review.
Let me start by admitting that I am NOT a huge tea drinker, but when I watched the how-to video showing the ways you can use this Libre tea glass.. well, let’s just say anyone can be swayed 😉 The biggest point throughout the video is to get creative with your infusions and tea brews with your Libre tea glass, so boy-oh-boy, did I ever!! Read on to see how I used my Libre tea glass, and maybe it’ll inspire you to get your own and make up your own recipes, it really is fun!
The first use shows you just a simple way to infuse some water with any kind of flavor you want.. but I got a little fruity with it! I infused some lemon-flavored water with fresh orange slices for a fresh, different kind of citrus water that’s both refreshing and good-for-you. (infusing the Vitamin-C right into that water!!) As you can see, the first cap you screw on allows you to drink the infused water without any fruit (or whatever you infuse your water with) to come through, becoming a choking hazard that NOBODY wants to deal with, lol. And come on.. how pretty does that stylish bottle look with some brightly colored fruit in it?! ^_^
The second use is obviously the namesake use for this creation.. brewing tea with ease! Once again though, I had to think outside the box to impress you people (lol!!) so I give you my creation.. *drums roll* Wait for it… “The Apple Pai” (yes, like “chai” with a “p” – I know, I know, genius right?! HA!) So here’s the “scoop” on this one 😉
Brewing tea in the Libre tea glass is super easy! I took it the step beyond to infuse the tea itself, so I first tossed in the slices of apples, a pinch of cinnamon & brown sugar. Then you’re gonna just screw on the filter cap, place the tea bag on it & pour over your hot water. Then you top it with the air-tight cap, flip over and let it steep! How long you steep it is up to you. When you’re done letting it steep, flip it over (at this point I swirled it around a little more just to be sure the cinnamon and sugar were mixed it, but if you’re just brewing regular tea, skip this step) remove the tea bag and enjoy! So good.. just like apple pie!
Libre’s final suggestion for your tea glass is just to use as a stylish way to tote around any beverage, which I will definitely be taking them up on.. because this tea glass is just too pretty to be kept in a cupboard!
So to wrap it up, other than just reading the material that comes with your Libre tea glass (just tells you how to use/wash/care for it properly, nothing major!) all you need to do is let your imagination run wild with the creations you could enjoy with this beautiful piece.
