Shaw’s Coupon Policy on “Reedamble at ” Coupons
Shaw’s has added in a line to their coupon policy that states, ” We do not accept manufacturer coupons with another retailer’s name or logo printed on the coupon.
We have all seen the printable coupons from coupons.com that suggest where you redeem them and it is after all just a suggestion but apparently Shaw’s is feeling a little insecure and does not want any competitors names anywhere on the coupons they redeem. Coupons.com has stated that logos and suggestions of “Redeemable at” are merely just a suggestion and that in fact the coupon may be redeemed at any retailer that accepts manufacturers coupons and that they will in fact reimburse the store for that coupon. Unfortunately Shaw’s has decided not to honor or take advantage of that and has made it official policy to turn away the manufacturers coupon. What does that mean for us? You will have to take that coupon to another store that accepts it.
Do you think this is a bad business decision for Shaw’s?
Let us know what you think.
