For Relaxation:
- Stop, Breathe, and Think meditation app is designed to ease your mind. You first check in to give your physcial and emotional state and then it will provide activities to help you with breathing techniques, physical activities, and even short videos to help you smile.
To Stay Fit:
- Aaptiv is an audio-based app with a personal trainer that will help you pick out exercises that work best for you. Just turn it on and listen to the trainer.
- Peloton is FREE for 30 days with guided workouts in yoga, bootcamps etc.
- If you are a runner, Runkeeper keeps track of runs and measures your progress. You can earn points towards rewards!
For Learning:
- EdX app has over 2000 classes available on a variety of topics offered by more than 100 universities.
- The Duolingo app has 35 languages that you can learn using a fun, fast paced game-like learning experience.
For Gaming:
- To play with friends – Heads Up! on Houseparty is a combination of the Heads Up Game with Ellen DeGeneres and the Houseparty video calling app that puts all of your friends together one one screen. Just download the Houseparty app and click the die in the top right corner of the screen to select Heads Up and there you go!
- The Sims is a game where you control the life of a virtual person who can work, shop, date, throw parties, meet ghosts etc. Live vicariously through your Sim!
Feel Like Socializing? Yes, Please!
- Nextdoor connects you with neighbors that you have never met.
Time to Cook!
- Project Foodie has pro chefs that breaks down recipes in a video step-by-step for you! Try to browse recipes, make a list, and grab essentials all in one trip so that you avoid frequent trips to the store.
Updates on Covid:
- Apple’s Covid-19 app collects everything you need to know about coronavirus in one app and is constantly updated with verifiable information as it’s released. You can view the information by state and screen your symptoms if you suspect you’ve become infected.
FOR FUN:
- TikTok app allows you to escape and be silly when you need it. Record videos, watch other dance it out, and stay connected.
