I’ve heard lots of people say, “there are no coupons for things that I would use” or “coupons are just for processed foods.” This not true. You can find coupons for everything: from meat to vegetables to organic items to health and beauty items, etc. Couponing also presents a unique opportunity to try new things. This is what manufacturers are hoping you will do. That’s why the companies release tons of coupons on new products. When that happens, you can often get the products really cheap, and for extreme couponers, often free when stacked with other store deals.
I have always been faithful to a high-end mascara that I bought regularly from Sephora for 19.00 a tube. I know, this isn’t actually anything close to a deal, but I loved it and nothing else compared, so it was worth it to me. Recently I had coupons for L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Intenza Mascara and it was on sale at CVS. After coupons and ECB’s it basically cost me nothing. I was hesitant to try something new as I’ve always been loyal to my high-end brand, but I LOVED it. It was even BETTER than my high-end mascara that I got at Sephora. I was surprised and thrilled. I just saved myself a ton of money by discovering this gem.
That’s the beauty of coupons; nothing ventured nothing gained if you don’t take advantage of coupons to try new products.
Time to find another new product to try.
