I completely understand that most people mean well when they share news with others but some of the most unreal news turns out to be just that.. NOT REAL!!! The other day I was surfing the web and a computer friend shared the story of a recall on produce that was real… several months ago. Anyone still having that produce from September should have long since tossed it and not for the reason of the recall.
Knowing that I had seen the recall announcement, word for word, I went to one of the governmental recall web sites below to confirm that the urgent news was still being passed around. I was also able to extinguish another fake news; story about a recall on bottled water, claiming to contain parasites that could cause death if consumed… FAKE!
Are you looking to confirm recalls and separate real from fake reports?
