Where do I sign up for Dollar General digital coupons and how do I use them?
Answer: Go here to sign up for an account. Load the digital coupons you’d like to use then enter your phone number on the pinpad by the register in store when you want to use them. Digital coupons can be used once per account.
What are Penny Items? How do I find them at my store?
Answer: Go and read this article HERE, it will answer any Penny Item questions you may have.
Does Dollar General allow coupon stacking?
Answer: It is allowed in certain situations:
- All of Dollar General digital coupons ARE manufacturer coupons with the exception of the ones that state in DG STORE COUPON in black and yellow on the top. Dollar Generals coupon policy states “Only one Manufacturer Coupon and one Dollar General Coupon can be used per item in a transaction.”
- Check out the picture example below. The M on the bottom of the image on the left means that coupon is a manufacturer’s coupon and cannot be stacked. The image on the right is a store coupon as it states at the top.
Can I stack two Dollar General store coupons together?
Answer: No. You can use one OR the other. These will NOT stack together.
How many coupons can I use per transaction?
Answer: You can use 5 identical coupons per household per day, if no other limit is listed on the coupon itself.
Does Dollar General allow overage if my coupons value is more than the item I’m buying?
Answer: Yes. If the coupon value is more than the price of the item, the remaining value will be applied to other items in your basket. Make sure you have other items in your order to absorb the overage. They are now working on fixing this and have on paper coupons in MANY stores already. (PLEASE READ HERE)
Does Dollar General take expired coupons?
Answer: No. Dollar General will not accept expired coupons.

Why did my $5 Off $25 DG store coupon for Saturday not come off my purchase?
Answer: Look your receipt over. The $5 off $25 coupon will come off as a percent off of each item totaling $5 when added all together.
