Giant Eagle doubles coupons and everything was on sale. I had coupons for each item, so free veggies for me.
Also, they had a deal on the Sinex where if you bought 2 (sale price $5 each) you got a $4 off your next order coupon. There was also a $4 off coupon on the Sinex site, so…
$10 worth of Sinex – $12 in coupons = negative $2 out of pocket (OOP), plus a $4 on your next order (OYNO) coupon- so I made $6 for buying the Sinex. I used the Catalina cash back to pay for leftover items on my list that weren’t quite free (like milk and cereal), and I’m set with cold medicines for the winter. There was a similar deal for feminine products as well- so the money I made back on that deal helped pay for other items, too.
I use a mix of printable coupons and Sunday paper coupons. I also ask my mailman for any extra Redplums, and that week I lucked out and got 7 extra sets! I normally end up with 5 Sunday papers each week. That seems to be enough for our family of 3 to buy and get a little extra and share a little and do some donations.
