I personally do not cut my coupons from my inserts until I’m good and ready to use them. Until then, I file my coupon inserts by date.
Where’s the date you ask?
The date can be found on the side of each weekly insert (have a magnifying glass handy, it’s tiny little date). If I cut every coupon I had from all of the inserts I would:
a. Have arthritis by Sunday night.
b. Be so worn out from cutting I would lose interest in using them and want to give up on couponing.
As you all know coupons are my life so we wouldn’t want either of those scenarios to ever happen, and I don’t wish that on any of you either.
So please… PUT THE SCISSORS DOWN! Don’t cut every single coupon! It’s too time consuming. Cutters, file your inserts by date and whenever you need a coupon, search the How to Shop for Free Coupon Database and it will tell you what insert the coupon can be found in.
Locate the coupon you need and then– and only then– start cutting! Good Luck!
