What is a wine tag and why do I want them so badly!!
Wine tags are just what they sound like, tags that hang from bottles of wine.
Some grocery stores that sell wine will have wine tags hanging from the bottles.
You will find that some of the tags are coupons for money off produce meat salty snacks and other goodies.
You may also find wine tags that are for money off wine or a rebate offer.
When you spot a wine tag grab it and read the requirements for redemption.
You may be pleasantly surprised by what you find on the tag.
Some coupons will state save x when you buy x no wine purchase required.
No wine purchase required means exactly that, no wine purchase is needed to redeem the coupon.
If you find a wine tag that says no wine purchase required you can say Cha –Ching!But say it quietly or to yourself so you don’t get weird looks from the other shoppers!
Slide the coupon off the bottle and go some free food!
Some of my favorite wine tags from the past include;
save 5.00 on any ham nwpr
Save 1.00 on any salty snack nwpr
Save 2.00 on any fresh fruit nwpr
NWPR = No wine purchase required
