About 43,000 pounds of ground beef including packages sold at Walmart stores across the nation are being recalled because of possible E. coli contamination according to the Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service. Ground beef that was produced on June 1 and have an establishment number “EST. 46841” inside the USDA mark of inspection are possibly contaminated. Lakeside Refrigerated Services in Swedesboro, New Jersey produced the ground meat and it was sold under brand names Thomas Farms and Marketside Butcher may be contaminated. Marketside Butcher products are sold at Walmart.
