Some people say you can do ANYTHING in Excel except cook. Well maybe I’m the only one who says that but for those looking for a list of their Stop & Shop LTC that will allow you to print, delete, or cross off your items theres a way to do that. Not an EASY way but for those with some comfort level in excel quick once mastered!
First open this excel workbook ltc database.xlsx
You will see a security warning that says macros have been disabled. Click the button that says “Options”, then “enable this content” then “ok”
Still with me? Great!
Now log into your stop & shop account and click on “Coupons”. Load any coupons to your card that haven’t been already. Then click on “View Loaded Coupons”.
Click on your mouse just before the first coupon, and keeping the button down, drag all the way to the bottom so ALL of your coupons are highlighted in blue.
While all of the coupons are highlighted, click on any coupon and select “copy”. (not copy image, just copy)
Go back to that excel workbook you already opened and on sheet 1, right click. Select “paste special” and select the option to paste as text.
Your worksheet will look similar to this:
Click on the tab titled “View” at the top of the page, then click the arrow under “Macros” , then “View Macros”.
You will see a macro called “reformat_LTC”. Click the button that says “Run”
You’ll watch excel go through all the formatting to get to THIS:
Took a bit to get there, but you now have a list of all of your LTC in a list and you can delete, cross out mark the date used or however you choose to keep track of your LTC list.
This is the workbook completed as of all of the LTC I have on 9/22/16, your exact list may not be the same. ltc database.xlsx
Enjoy!
