How to Help Massachusetts Tornado Victims
As I write this I still can’t believe this actually happened.
When a friend called yesterday to let us know we had a tornado warning I just laughed and thought Ya right nothing is going to happen here . Well Mother Nature gave me quite the reality check.
I never thought I would be asking for everyone to help victims of a natural disaster that happened here in Massachusetts.
A large majority of HTSFF members are Massachusetts residents so this tragedy hits us all a bit to close to home for most of us. I never thought Massachusetts would experience such a devastating tornado, it shakes your inner core and really makes you appreciate life.
As always the mission of How to Shop for Free is to Pay it Forward and help others in need. I always state start closest to home and work outwards but when it has come to Earthquakes in Japan or Tornados in Joplin I say change that thought and help the victims first .
1.The number one way everyone can help is to get out and donate blood. There have been so many natural disasters around the world lately that The Red Cross is desperately seeking blood donors.
2.The second way you can help is donate money, even if you can only spare a dollar every little bit helps.
3.Next way to is to donate your stockpiles, anything you can spare. As soon as I hear what they are collecting and where we can bring it I will let you all now.
Please do your part to help out no matter how big or small.
No good deed goes unnoticed.
Be safe and if you don’t already have a disaster plan it’s time we all think about making one.
