Whenever I am in the grocery store I look for all managers special mark downs in all the outside aisles. I often stock up on meat and chicken for 75% off. If it is a brand name like Perdue I can also stack a manufacturers coupon with the deal and get it free or near free. Normally the meat has a close suggested sell by date, within a day or two.
When you see deals like this you will want to stock up! These type of deals are ones that you want to grab as many as you know you will use or can fit in your freezer. These aren’t the type of deals you want to be shy about. The rules to anti shelf clearing do not apply in cases like this. Normally once I grab as much as I want the butcher comes over and marks down more. If you see the butcher strike up a conversation. Ask what day they normally do mark downs, whens the best time to come and does he have anymore deals out back. They want this deal to move quickly and you want a full freezer.
