McDonald’s nostalgic favorite, the Halloween Pails or Boo Buckets as some call them, made a triumphant return last year in 2022 – and we’re excited to announce that they’re expected to be back for 2023!
First launched way back in 1986, these iconic Halloween Pails featured the characters of McBoo, McPunk’n, and McGoblin. We haven’t heard yet if these will be the same characters for this year or if anything new is dropping, but we are hearing that they will be in participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide from October 17 until October 30th, or while supplies last.
The McDonald’s Halloween Boo buckets are the perfect memory-making way to celebrate the Halloween season. After all, who doesn’t remember grabbing one of these fun Halloween pails when they were a kid?! The bucket comes filled with your favorite McDonald’s chicken nuggets and french fries. Once your kid (ahem, you) are done with the Happy Meal, the buckets can be reused in all sorts of ways including as planters, costume accessories, or of course for trick-or-treating on Halloween night.
