Stop & Shop had suspended its same day curbside order pick up in March due to overwhelming demand during the pandemic. This has lead to even more pressure on grocery delivery services, and having to be strategic about securing delivery time slots (see tips on how to do so HERE). A friend alerted me that yesterday she was able to select a time slot for same day pickup, sure enough when I checked the Peapod app today, I was able to select pickup. There were no available same-day time slots but there are multiple time slots for tomorrow and other days this week! For those of us avoiding going into stores, this is a life saver – we can now get groceries without having to expose ourselves or waiting two weeks! Woohoo!!
