How to Stack Your $5 off $20 Gain & $5 off $25 Purchase Coupons at Dollar General
The $5 off $20 Gain Scented Product Coupon and the $5 off $25 Purchase Coupon that typically comes out for Saturday will stack if you follow a few simple steps.
The coupons do state that they can not be combined but a glitch in the DG system allows them to stack
When planning your trip ensure that at least $20 of the items in your order are Gain or Gain Scented. The remaining $5 can be any item(s) of your choice. Your total needs to be $25 after any instant savings but before any coupons. We’ve seen it reported that you would need to spend $30 to use both of these coupons. That is not accurate. We can tell you from personal experience that it works perfectly at $25.
The Gain Scented Purchase Coupon is notorious for not attaching to random scents. The best way to make sure that your coupon will attach is to use the DG app to verify that the item you are purchasing is attaching to the Gain Coupon. Most of the time if your Gain Coupon does not deduct it’s because one of your items is not attaching to the Gain Coupon. If you don’t have the ability to use the DG App you should be safe purchasing all Gain Original Scent items as those typically always attach.
Keep an eye out in the Dollar General Freebies & Deals Facebook Group. If we become aware of specific items that aren’t attaching we’ll post that for your reference.
Follow these guidelines and you’ll be stacking in no time!
Please Note: Sometimes the Gain Coupon is $5 off $30. You can follow these guideline as well. Ensure that you have $30 of Gain Scented Products and you will be able to stack both the $5 off $30 Gain and $5 off $25 Purchase Coupon
