WANT F-R-E-E MONEY?!?!? LEARN HOW TO ROLL THOSE ECB’S like a PRO at CVS!

FREE MONEY?!?!? LEARN HOW TO ROLL THOSE ECB’S like a PRO at CVS!

OK! Many of you newbies are looking for tips on how to start couponing and building your stockpile, right? Well, we here at HTSFF love to help make your new journey as easy and FUN as possible! One of the easiest ways to start feeling that coupon high is to EARN ECB’s at CVS!

What is ECB’s? They are CVS’ term for ExtraCare Bucks! Or what we like to call, FREE MONEY! CVS makes it VERY EASY to shop for FREE (or close to it!)

We highly recommend signing up for the CVS ExtraCare Card, if you haven’t already done so. This card will give you access to in-store coupons and discounts that people without the card will not get.

Upon entering the store, there is a big RED kiosk. It’s called the ExtraCare Coupon Center! Scan your ExtraCare Card and it will print out a bunch of coupons. We also recommend you keep these coupons in an envelope where you can access it each and every time you go into the store, as you never know when these will help you score BIG deals!

For example, from time to time, CVS will give select cards a “$4 off $14 on cosmetics” coupon. Sometimes they will print out a “$4 off any Revlon product”. These two CVS coupons can be used TOGETHER!!! YES, it’s TRUE!

I’m a big fan of Revlon’s lip liners. They are a bit pricy for my taste, usually around $9.50 a piece! From time to time, the coupon inserts from the weekly newspaper will have a coupon for Revlon products. Let’s say, last week, the insert had a “$3 off one Revlon product” – We recommend getting at least 3-4 of each insert per week. Find a neighbor, friend, co-worker or family who is willing to contribute to your inserts!

The example scenario could look like this:

SALE – Buy 1 Revlon Product, Get 1 Revlon product 50% off – SPEND $12 ON REVLON, GET $6 ECB’s

Buy 1 Revlon lip liner at $9.50

Buy 1 Revlon lip liner at $4.75 (50% off)

= $14.25

Then, use the CVS $ off coupons FIRST (before the manufacturer’s coupons)!

$14.25 – $4 off $14

= $10.25

Next, use the CVS $4 off Revlon Product

$10.25 – $4 off

= $6.25

After that, use the Manufacturer’s coupon from the newspaper insert

$6.25 – Two $3 off Revlon coupons

= $.25 OUT OF POCKET (OOP)

AND, THAT’S NOT ALL!! You will also get $6 ECB’s by “spending” $12 on Revlon!!!!

THAT IS WHAT WE CALL A MONEY MAKER! You can take that $6 ECB and use it toward your next purchase! It’s like FREE MONEY from CVS! If you are like us, we NEVER pass up FREE ANYTHING! A BIG TIP we can give you is to use your ECB’s for a deal that will give you ECB’s in the next purchase, that way you are ROLLING those ECB’s toward more FREE products!

BUT, THAT’S NOT ALL (AGAIN!)

Make sure that when you sign up for your ExtraCare Card to sign up for the BeautyClub. This club will give you $3 ECB back for each $30 you spend on any Beauty related products!

It is almost like they PAY YOU to shop for the things you love!

JOIN US in our CVS Forums HERE where you can learn what is for sale each week at CVS and how to EARN those ECB’s like a PRO!

Happy shopping!
