GoodBelly Probiotic Juice Drink Class Action!
NextFoods agreed to a $1.25 million class action lawsuit settlement to resolve claims that it misrepresented GoodBelly Probiotic JuiceDrink products with misleading health claims, and no proof of purchase is required for consumers to make a claim.
You may be eligible if you purchased any flavors of GoodBelly Probiotic JuiceDrinks sold in 1-quart (32-ounce) containers between Aug. 13, 2017, and Nov. 27, 2023.
According to the false advertising class action lawsuit, NextFoods falsely claimed that GoodBelly juice drinks could help promote digestive health and “overall” wellness. These claims were allegedly false and misleading because the sugar in the juices can reportedly lead to serious health concerns.
Under the settlement terms, class members can receive a cash payment based on the number of GoodBelly products they purchased.
Each product purchased will result in $1 in compensation. Class members with no proof of purchase can claim up to five products for a maximum payment of $5. There is no cap for class members who have proof of purchase.
Deadline: 01/29/2024
