I Just got 35 Gallons of Gas for Free!!! (Again!!)
Every time people complain about the price of gas it just makes me laugh! If you are paying for gas it is time to wake up and smell the …Stop & Shop ad and start listening to me!! Every week Stop & Shop advertises items that will earn you 30¢ or 40¢ off a gallon of gas when you buy a certain amount of the select items (usually 4-8 items). The trick is with the math. Figure out which item you can get for free or near free and that is the item you want to get a lot of to rack up the gas points. If math isn’t your thing no worries we figure it all out for you and post the best gas point deals for the week in the Stop & Shop Forums.
The price of gas today was down to just $2.15 a gallon. I had well over that in gas points which made my gas completely free! My husband did a great job of squeezing out all 35 gallons and he remembered to save the receipt (Just for you DanP#1).
You are allowed to get a maximum of 35 gallons with your gas points savings. When you are getting gas for free you do not want to leave one free drop of gasoline behind! How do you get 35 gallons in your car that only has a gas tank that can hold 15 gallons? That’s easy, bring four 5 gallon gas cans with you and fill them up! Or, in my case make your husband do it.! The small of gas makes me sick! When he gets home with the gas cans we fill up our second car and the lawn mower. I honestly can not remember the last time we paid more than 25¢ a gallon for gasoline!
